It is a non-profit organization founded by volunteer dentists seeking to increase access to care in the most remote parts of Zambia, a landlocked nation in sub-Saharan Africa. Options for Children is doing incredible work including providing care and oral health education and facilitating community projects aimed at reducing poverty and hardship endured in Zambia. Zambians face an unfortunate combination of disease, drought,poverty and a lack of critical resources. And few bear the brunt greater than the country’s women and children — particularly the numerous orphans.

The challenges are immense, but Options for Children in Zambia is working at the grassroots level to foster real and lasting change. There are many ways to get involved. Learn more about what we can do by visiting the site.
