Kerry Maguire, DDS, MSPH
Chair, Options for Children in Zambia and Designer, PieceworksZambia
Kerry is a general dentist with advanced training in public health. Her interest in international health began in 1988 during a summer working with the Colorado Migrant Health Program. She balances her experience in academic and corporate dentistry with an interest in fiber arts (www.PieceworksZambia.org).

Thomas P. Stossel, MD
American Cancer Society Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital
Tom is a hematologist with accomplishments in cell biology research. His interest in international health was nonexistent until he married Options Chairperson, Kerry Maguire. Now he is a devout believer in community service and proud to be an honorary Zambian with an appointment at the University of Zambia’s University Teaching Hospital.

Patricia Campbell, MPH
Executive Vice-President, Tufts University
Patricia Campbell, Executive Vice President Tufts University, is responsible for finance, budgeting, treasury functions, human resources, construction, buildings and grounds, information technology, internal auditing, real estate, and risk management. Patricia returned to Tufts after serving as Vice President for Finance and Administration at WGBH, Boston’s public broadcaster, for 3 years. Prior to that, Patricia formerly served for eight years as the Executive Associate Dean at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she introduced a new IT system, established new financial controls, initiated a strategic planning process, and reorganized the dental clinic operations. Before coming to Boston, she spent 20 years in the New York State public sector. She was the Director of Administration for the Capital District Psychiatric Center, served as the Deputy Commissioner for Administration and Finance at the New York State Office of Mental Health, as Director of Budget Studies for the Assembly Ways and Means Committee and as an analyst in the State Office for Aging. Campbell holds a master’s degree in public health from Tufts and a master’s in library science from the State University of New York at Albany, where she also received her undergraduate degree.

Maureen Lombard RDH, MM
Director of Clinical Affairs, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
Maureen is a veteran Options volunteer with a strong commitment to developing the capabilities of the dental healthcare outreach workers and improving the sustainability of healthcare at the village level. The warmth of the Zambian people and the delightful Zambian children continue to motivate her volunteer efforts to improve healthcare.

John Morgan, DDS
Associate Professor, Department of Public Health and Community Service, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
John is a general dentist with advanced training in hospital and community dentistry. His interest in international health began in 1988 when he joined a team to develop access to dental care for medically compromised and vulnerable populations in Haiti.

Donna Golemme
Director and Treasurer, Options for Children in Zambia
Donna is a finance executive at PBS Distribution, an affiliate of the Public Broadcasting Service. She is also a beading artist and co-owner of BeadCache, a retail beading business in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Donna considers being able to re-introduce bead-weaving techniques to the creative and talented women of Muchila has been the opportunity of a lifetime. The vibrancy, talent and passion of these women to work hard and produce amazing handcrafted creations to generate income has been nothing short of inspirational.

Rich Golemme
Board of Directors, Options for Children in Zambia
Rich is an entrepreneur and small business owner of BeadCache, a retail store in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Rich has been involved in both the commerce and the dental missions at Options for Children for the past 2 years. In addition to his work instigating Muchila’s beading microfinance project, Rich has also worked to provide supporting sterilization services to the village dentistry mission.
